Serving The Straits Area Sportsmen Since 1975
The Straits Area Sportsmen's Club was formed in 1975 to promote hunting, fishing, trapping, and conservation of our natural resources. Additionally, we educate and inform our membership, youth, and the community about conservation issues and teach them how to enjoy and protect our outdoor heritage.
The Straits Area Sportsman’s Club is a very active group of volunteers who are very busy in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Upper Peninsula Sportsmen’s Alliance, Michigan United Conservation Clubs, and Eastern Citizens Advisory Council. We regularly participate in various activities and projects in the Straits Area. Recently club leaders have been a leading voice for implementing a Wolf Hunting & Trapping Season in the Upper Peninsula.
